For me, finding meaning and purpose in life is essential. Mindfulness, lovingkindness practice, and exploring my heart and mind have been the bedrock for finding meaning. Mindfulness cultivates four heart qualities: lovingkindness, compassion, joy, and equanimity, among others. As I soften into these practices and offer love and compassion to myself and others, I learn, again and again, that I belong to something bigger than myself.
