Mindfulness Meditation Course

This Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction course consists of 8 weekly sessions, each lasting 2 1/2 hours. In addition to practicing mindfulness meditation, the course provides support for the participants in fostering a daily meditation practice, and discussion about how to integrate mindfulness into various aspects of every-day life. There is a day-long silent retreat in the sixth week of the class to help participants deepen their meditation practice.

This 4 week class will explore equanimity and mindfulness and teach skills to cultivate the ability to be present, centered, and resourceful in the face of all that life presents.

Day of Mindfulness

Come renew your sense of stillness, clarity, and connection. This day-long retreat is a period of extended mindfulness practice and silence which can help you deepen and strengthen your practice. We will experience Noble Silence, mindfulness sitting, walking, and loving-kindness meditations, as well as mindful yoga. The meditations will have enough guidance to allow people of all levels of meditation practice to attend.

Mindfulness Group for Grads

This mindfulness meditation group is designed for graduates of our MBSR courses and/or other mindfulness training.  All sessions will be conducted by Micki Fine, M.Ed., L.P.C., founder of Mindful Living, certified mindfulness meditation instructor and licensed counselor in Houston, Texas. 

Each 1.5 hr. session will begin with 45 minutes of mindfulness meditation followed by practice discussion/instruction to deepen awareness and understanding.

This daylong workshop focuses on Loving-kindness, one of the Four Heart Qualities. Cultivating loving-kindness through mindfulness allows us to open the heart/mind to the wisdom and compassion that is already present to the benefit for the ourselves and the world. 
Cost: $100 or $90 if you are a Jung Center member
