Mindful Living

Our MBSR courses

In each course, participants can expect:

  • Guided instruction in and practice and discussion of several mindfulness meditations, including gentle mindful yoga
  • Group dialogue and discussions aimed at enhancing awareness in everyday life, both personal and professional
  • Weekly emailed assignments & resources
  • Downloadable MP3s - 3 hrs+ of guided meditation including the Body Scan, mindful yoga/stretching, sitting meditation and others.

Mindfulness is best understood through one’s own experience of practice. To benefit, participants are asked to commit themselves to practicing mindfulness meditation from 45 to 60 minutes per day. The community created in the course supports participants in this commitment, helping to establish a grounded and consistent mindfulness practice in their lives. Read what others have said about making this commitment.

All training, courses and retreats are conducted by
Micki Fine M.Ed., L.P.C., founder of Mindful Living and certified mindfulness teacher in the Houston Metro area. Both the course for the general public and mental health professionals are held at Mindful Living.  We are located at 3701 Kirby Drive, Suite 890, Houston, Texas 77098 in the Baylor Family Medicine building between the S.W.
