Mindful Living offers Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Courses (MBSR) for the General Public, for Mental Health Professionals and for Medical Professionals.
All of our 8-week courses are highly participatory, practical and modeled after the distinguished work of Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn.
In each course participants can expect:
- Guided instruction in and practice and discussion of several mindfulness meditations, including gentle mindful yoga
- Group dialogue and discussions aimed at enhancing awareness in everyday life, both personal and professional
For many people the energy of the group is palpable and provides a quality of belonging and self-acceptance. You can rest in the understanding and kindness of others.
When others share their meditation experience you can begin to understand that you are not alone. Mindful communication in the group can help you open your mind to ways of thinking beyond your preconceived notions.
- Weekly emailed assignments & resources
- Downloadable MP3s - 3 hrs+ of guided meditation including the Body Scan, mindful yoga/stretching, sitting meditation and others.
