Our longer meditation retreats provide a protected and caring space, away from the day-to-day busyness that consumes our attention, in which to cultivate and deepen your meditation practice. Practicing for an extended period, along with support of a group, encourages insight, compassion, and awareness. Mindfulness and loving-kindness are nurtured through alternate periods of sitting and walking meditation, loving-kindness meditation, and mindful yoga. Practicing mindfulness and loving-kindness moment to moment throughout the day can help the mind, body, and spirit find equilibrium and peace. We will observe noble silence, allowing you to rest deeply, and further develop connection and clarity. In addition to the structured meditation periods, there will be evening talks and private interviews with the instructor.

Dates for 2012:
  • Tuesday 3 p.m.- Sunday 9 a.m., Sept. 18th- 23rd, 2012
