Mindfulness Meditation Course.



In our Mindfulness Mediation Course (MBSR for the general public), participants learn how to:
  • Increase their ability to relax and handle stress with greater ease.
  • Decrease physical and psychological suffering.
  • Strengthen connection with themselves and others.
  • Discover greater energy and enthusiasm for life.
  • Enhance their ability to cope with pain that may not go away.
This MBSR course costs $450. and consists of eight weekly classes and one day-long retreat on a Saturday. Micki Fine, M.Ed., L.P.C., founder of Mindful Living, certified mindfulness meditation instructor and licensed counselor in Houston, Texas, will conduct this highly participatory and practical course.

Mindfulness is best understood through its practice. To benefit fully from MBSR training, participants are asked to commit themselves to practice mindfulness meditation from 45 to 60 minutes per day, and are coached to work gently and patiently with this commitment.
